CHILD AND INFANT CPR COURSE

Who should attend:

This course is designed for any participant who is in contact with children or infants such as parents, parents to be, nursery and school teachers, child carers, nurses, doctors and health professionals.

Aim:

To enable you to achieve a level of competence and update your knowledge and practical skills in infant and child CPR in line with the Australian  Resuscitation Council.

Outcome:

By the end of the session you will be able to:

-Demonstrate the procedures when assessing a seriously ill infant or child.

-Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on child and infant manikins.                      

-Demonstrate the recovery position.

-Demonstrate the management and treatment for choking infants/children.
